APICS has developed two certification programs that are recognized around the world as the standard for resource management, and a new workshop series.
CPIM - Certified in Production & Inventory ManagementSince 1973, CPIM has provided specialized knowledge of materials management and logistics. To achieve CPIM candidates must pass five exam modules. The modules include Basics of Supply Chain Management, Master Planning of Resources, Detailed Scheduling and Planning, Execution and Control of Operations, and Strategic Management of Resources. This training is very important to companies that are implementing or refurbishing their ERP or supply chain management systems. All materials management systems in ERP stem from the original logic that is taught in the CPIM curricula. The Detroit APICS chapter is currently teaching two cycles of CPIM. For more information, please see the CPIM Schedule and FeesCSCP - Certified Supply Chain ProfessionalThe APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is the first globally recognized comprehensive certification program designed for supply chain management professionals.
