speakers: Mr. John Borza and Mr. Rick Gour of TRW Automotive The
topic of the evening’s presentation is: TRIZ, An Inventive Approach to
Problem Solving Presentation Overview: TRIZ Basics and One Company's
Experiences. This presentation will
provide an overview of the basics of TRIZ and how it can be used in business
and personal situations to arrive at "Inventive Solutions". Real world examples and the results from
one company's efforts and experiences to date in implementing this tool will
be presented, followed by a question and answer session. About
the Speakers: John Borza is currently the
Director of Value Engineering at TRW Automotive. He joined TRW in 1976, and has held a
variety of engineering positions in the Steering & Suspension Division,
including Director of Value Engineering, Steering & Suspension, Global
Engineering Director for Rack & Pinion Steering; Director of Steering
Systems and Applications Engineering; Chief Engineer, Steering Systems; and
Manager, R&D. John holds a
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and a Master’s in Business
